Ellen Greene and Frank Oz Unveil a New Version of Little Shop of Horrors

I just read about this today:
Director’s Cut of Little Shop of Horrors film will be screened at the New York Film Festival with original violent ending. Ellen Greene, who played Audrey in the classic film (as well as the original 1982 Off-Broadway production), and director Frank Oz are scheduled to make appearances at the Director’s Cut screening.I love how they call it ‘never-before-seen footage’ — as if the die-hard fans havent found it on youtube, or as a torrent, yet!
Damn, i wish i could go to that!

Not sure if this is true or not, but…

And fans of Little Shop will be happy to hear that Frank [Oz] also announced Warner Brothers will be releasing a 2-disc DVD/Blu-ray set of the film next Halloween, which includes the original ending!

Now, they also didnt say if the original ending will be in the film, or just as an extra/bonus feature. Plus, they dont say if it’ll be colour or black & white — which, if they put it back in, let’s hope it’s colour. Altho, i would not be opposed to the full film in black & white.
