can you guess how excited i was yesterday, when the flyer for Ann Arbor Summer Festival came in the mail, only to discover that this year Cinematic Titanic will in fact be performing there again?! they werent there last year, but were for 2010. i really hope i can go — i mean, Cinematic Titanic live, twice in one year?! FUCK, YEAH!!

Hmmm… I have Silly Rhymes, but did not know that Mary Jo has a book, as well. Guess Ill have to check this out!

The first time i ever saw Cinematic Titanic live was when they came to Royal Oak (Michigan) — i believe it was the first time they’d come here — and they riffed the film War Of The Insects (aka Genocide, the film’s original title). Joel pointed out that they most-likely changed the title, so it didnt sound so awful… “Critics love Genocide!”. Now, theres a performance of this hilariousness on DVD!
